El-Rufai also blamed refusal of President Buhari to support removal of petroleum subsidy for the scarcity of petrol as well as the economic problems being faced by the country.
He said the Governor has agreed that subsidy should go at the meeting of National Economic Council.
El-Rufai said on his part, he met Buhari in 2021 and made a presentation to him on why subsidy should go.
He said the President agreed, but later reneged on the promise.
He said the President always argued that removal of subsidy will hurt the common man.
