APC Aspirant Fajimi Unveils Comprehensive Development Plan for Abeokuta North

Olumuyiwa Fajimi, the APC chairmanship aspirant for Abeokuta North Local Government Area, has pledged to tackle poverty and underdevelopment in the region.

 In an interview with newsmen in Abeokuta on Friday, Fajimi outlined his vision for the local government, prioritizing worker training, road construction, and development.

Fajimi emphasized the importance of improving staff working and living conditions, saying, “Improvement in the working and living conditions of staff will also be a top priority.”

He noted that road construction is crucial for socio-economic development in rural communities.

Fajimi also promised to focus on critical sectors like water supply, agriculture, healthcare, and education.

He assured the public that he would work hard to meet their expectations and deliver democratic dividends.

Fajimi stressed “More jobs still need to be done because provision of infrastructure are things that need continuous attention.

 “I am offering myself for a better transformation of Abeokuta North Local Government Area.

He added “I have observed that the health facilities available at the moment are not enough to cater for the health needs of the people. So, we will ensure that we have more health centres in each community.”

He emphasized his commitment to working with the Governor to bring development to the local government, saying, “I can’t do anything without my principal, which is the Governor, so I will work hand in hand with my Governor to bring more developments to my local government.”

Fajimi concluded by outlining his comprehensive development plan, saying, “We will also look into roads, education, sports, security and others. In fact, we are on a pure transformation mission. And, at the appropriate time, the people will see and understand the reason I am coming to serve them.”
