Woman raises alarm over alleged scam by Ogun govt

An applicant of the Ogun state Housing Scheme at Kobape has cried out for being allegedly denied of  the property she paid for.

The victim, Akindele Olubukola Amope explained that she applied for the property and made the necessary payment and was after, told to wait for  President Muhammadu Buhari’s formal commissioning before allocation.

According to the victim,  she had  filled the form for application after the ministry told her that Kobape Newly built Housing Scheme were available, which prompted her to make payment.

Amope stressed that she was later informed that the property was allocated without her knowledge, saying  “and when I got to the site, I was told to go to the ministry. At the ministry, no one to provide any reasonable explanation.”

She added that,”I was assured that the property would be given to me after presenting all my documents during my meeting with the Commissioner. To my shock, I was informed that the property was allocated without my knowledge, and when I got to the site, I was told to go to the ministry. At the ministry, no one to provide any reasonable explanation. “

Mrs Amope stated  that the ministry had yet to  explain why the development.

She is currently requesting that her property be given to her or her money refunded.

All efforts to speak with authorities at the Ministry of Housing was not successful as no one is ready to speak with the media on the alleged fraud.
