Cultists kill “Mosquito” In Ogun Rival Clash

One person has been reportedly killed in a rival cult clash in the Ijebu Ode area of Ogun State on Sunday.
The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, confirmed the incident on the command’s official Twitter handle @OgunPoliceNG.
According to the Commissioner, the command received a call from a concerned citizen on Sunday, reporting that cultists were involved in a confrontation along Ijagun Road, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
Alamutu said that upon receiving the information, the Divisional Police Officer quickly dispatched a team of officers to the scene, after which it was discovered that the deceased, also known as “Mosquito,” was identified as a member of the Aye confraternity.
He said the deceased’s body was later evacuated and transferred to Ijebu Ode State Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Alamutu said, “A clash between rival cults in Ogun State has resulted in a suspected murder, which has claimed one life.”

Six expended cartridges were found at the scene. The body was evacuated and has been transferred to Ijebu Ode State Hospital, where he was pronounced dead,” he added.
