Easter: Akinlawon Advises Christians to Pray for Nigeria’s Peace, President Tinubu’s Administration

A young Ogun State politician, Olufemi Akinlawon, has urged Christian faithful in Ogun State to utilize the Easter celebration to reflect on the nation’s state of affairs and pray for a good future for Nigeria.

He insisted that Christian should utilize the Easter period to pray for stability and peace in Nigeria.

Akinlawon, a more than a decade politician from Yewa North madr this request in a statement in Abeokuta, state capital on Saturday.

He disclosed that the peace of Nigeria is larger than the divergences seen by the different group in the country.

“As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, I implore all Ogun State Christians to pray for Nigeria’s peace and stability. May we pray that insurgency and all other forms of violent crimes which have dogged our nation be brought to a halt,” Akinlawon stated.

Akinlawon also underlined the need for the role of Christians’ support for the Bola Tinubu administration over the Easter period.

Akinlawon claims “It is just the number of prayers Nigerians can pray for the President that makes him successful.”

Akinlawon also argued that if President Tinubu requires a safe landing, Nigerians should make it a duty to pray for him.

“Let us pray for the President and his government, that they are guided by wisdom and courage to make decisions that will benefit our great nation,

“Rather than criticising, let us provide helpful suggestions to aid the government,” he added.
