End Of Storm: Buhari Re-appoints Musa-Olomu As Medical Director, FMC Abeokuta

President Muhammadu Buhari has re-appointed Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu as the Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre Idi-Aba Abeokuta for another term of four years.
This was sequel to recommendation made to the Presidency by the Hon. Minister of State for Health, Dr.Olorunnimbe Mamora.
Prof. Olomu’s appointment marked the end the multifaceted corruption scandal threatening to tear the FMC apart.
The first term tenure of the Medical Director was reported to have been fraught with varying allegations.
Olomu was accused of irregularity in date of birth and abuse of office.
But statement by the Head of Public Relations, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta , Segun Orisajo stated that the Medical Director was on Friday morning presented with his letter of appointment by Dr. Mamora at a brief ceremony held in Abuja.
Responding, the highly elated Olomu thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, the Hon. Ministers of Health for the confidence reposed in him.
