Group describes Gov. Abiodun’s election victory as result of doggedness, good leadership
A group in Ogun state, Tola Adebajo Campaign Group has congratulated with Governor Abiodun on his reelection, in the just concluded governorship election.
The campaign group, a structure within the All Progressives Congress APC in the State, said the victory is an indication of God’s divine presence in the life if the governor.
The group in a congratulatory message through its Co-ordinator Prince Omotola Adebajo in Abeokuta, the state capital advised the governor to set up cabinet members who are technocrats and individuals of highest standards of service and character.
Adebajo however assured Abiodun of the group’s support through out his four years in office.
The congratulatory message reads “Your victory is a victory for all, irrespective of political affiliation as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear state.
“May your renowned brilliance and re-emergence further deepens and consolidates the tenets of good governance you had delivered as you round up your first tenure.
“The group supported your campaign structure in Ijebu-Igbo, independently. We did door-to-door and made available campaign materials, distributed amongst the locals as a way of propagating the dividends of democracy you delivered in our town, and by extension, the local government.
“Be aassured, Your Excellency of our full support as you embark on this new journey towards elevating your statement to a higher level and we believe you will continue to put the interest of our State first in all your actions.
“Your campaign slogan of “Igbega Ipinle Ogun” is one which encapsulates the whole yearning of the masses and we expect that you will hit the ground running, again, as you face this daunting task.
“The task and expectations ahead are enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board, based on your achievements, policies and programmes during the outgoing tenure, should make the task a bit easy for you and we hope that you will use this goodwill to make the good people of Ogun State proud of you.
“Your Excellency, kindly set up cabinet members who are technocrats and individuals of highest standards of service and character, expected to make your job easy and help solidify your first term success stories.
