Hope For Obafemi-Owode LG As NRM Chairmanship Aspirant Daramola Samuel Pledges Total Development

The Chairmanship Aspirant for Obafemi Owode Local Government area of Ogun State, on the platform of National Rescue Movement (NRM), Daramola Samuel has vowed to bring total development to the area if elected in the November 16 Local Government Election in the state.
Daramola who stated this in a statement in Abeokuta on Tuesday lamented that the business strength and the developmental potential of Obafemi Owode have remained untapped due to negligence on the part of the government.
He also stressed that the local government deserves immediate attention, while lamenting “the hopeless state of youths in the area”.
The Local government aspirant however noted that his aspiration was birthed out of the desire to give the people of the local government the dividend of democracy and not for personal gain.
His words “Ogun State is blessed with a large population but so far, the business strength and the developmental potential of the people have remained untapped due to the negligence on the part of our leaders.
“The tertiary institutions of this great state churn out graduates on a yearly basis, but still, development looks like a mirage, on this note, the future of the youths remains hopeless and this problem really deserves immediate attention to cut out the generational flow of underachievement and broken dreams.
Reeling out his vision and mission, Daramola said “To Raise the awareness of youth to self-employment as a career option and to inculcate in the youth the ability to think strategically and plan the future with great imagination and innovation creatively.
Others are; “To promote Peace and Security, to reduce the rate of unemployment, poverty, crime, and hunger in our society, to make our generation competent and well-equipped to compete favorably with others in this rapidly changing world.
