While receiving the award in Abeokuta on Saturday, Comrade Alamu said the award came at a time when he has a flaming burden to do more immensely in the area of youth development in the state.

He noted that the honour wouldn’t have been made possible without the support of members of OGYASD whom he said gave him the platform to serve.

The President also described the honour as a call to do more in terms of youth development and advocacy for social development in the state.

He said “I’m so delighted to be here today and I’m elated to receive this honour from this auspicious organisation. This is nothing but a call to do more in terms of youth development in our dear Ogun state.

“My unreserved gratitude goes to the almighty God who made this possible and all the members of Ogun Youth Advocate For Social Development (OGYASD) for giving me the platform to showcase the good leadership skills in me.

“It is through this impeccable platform I have been able to contribute to the development of the youths in Ogun state and I am still doing more.

He added “Once again, I want to say that I’m most grateful today and I promise not to take this for granted nor relent in my untiring strive to develop our youths in all areas of life. I am saying thank you once again.”
