The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly Candidate in the 2023 elections in Ogun state, Hon. Ahmed Muiz Oladimeji aka, AMO, has called for supports for all the chairmanship and councilorship candidates of the PDP in the coming local government election.
The former assembly candidate equally pledged maximum support for the party candidates in Abeokuta North Local Government, expressing optimism that the PDP will record victory in the poll.
Oladimeji stated this during an empowerment programme he facilitated  for the candidates at the PDP Abeokuta North Local Government Secretariat, held on Friday in Abeokuta the state capital.
Oladimeji in his kind gesture toward the victory called on the members of PDP People’s Democratic Party to prioritize victory in the Novermeber 16 forthcoming election, urging for grassroots support.
He alleged that the Ruling All Progressive in the state is plotting to discourage electorates from trooping out to vote during next week Saturday’s local government election.
Oladimeji added that people should come out in en masse to vote and jettison the saying that their vote wouldn’t count.
He called on the security agents to beef up ahead of the poll while he also assured that the major opposition party will ensure that the plot does not work.
In his welcome remark, Hon.Osunrinde Yusuf, PDP party Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government acknowledged the support of Hon. AMO, noting the support is coming at the right time for the candidates.
He called well-meaning party members to emulate the kind gestures by giving grassroots support for candidates as a shared bond of brotherhood.
