Lizzy’s achievements transcend gender and age, standing as a testament to her unwavering selflessness and tireless efforts. Her accomplishments are unparalleled in the history of Sagamu and Remoland.
Through her remarkable non-governmental organization, JK Liz Concept, Lizzy Jekami has been making a difference in the lives of marginalized people and communities since 2014.
Her interventions encompass education and skill development programs, talent discovery initiatives, and award ceremonies.
As a leader par excellence, Ambassador Lizzy Jekami has dedicated herself to empowering individuals and communities through various initiatives.
Her mission has always been to identify and address the needs of marginalized groups, particularly the girl child, and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
She started her whole career on humanities from her days in School where she saw JCI as a platform to give back to the society as a student of higher institutions.
In 2016, Jekami launched a sensitization program focused on the girl child, highlighting their challenges, rights, and vulnerabilities.
She further recognized the contributions of individuals to the growth and development of Remoland through the Remo Achievers Award in 2017 and the Remo Iconic Award in 2018.
Lizzy’s impact extends to empowering over 200 students in 2018 through her girls’ empowerment program, “Building The Future Of The Girl Child.”
Her intervention continued with the Girl Child Speakout program at Remo Divisional Secondary School in Sagamu in 2021, providing a platform for girls to share their experiences and challenges.
The program revealed that these girls had suffered various degrees of abuse and were struggling in silence. However, through counseling, their emotional and psychological challenges were addressed, and they were empowered to overcome their struggles.
Lizzy’s influence has also been felt among young men and women in Remoland, as she has organized the Remo Young Achievers Award to recognize their contributions to the development of Remo.

Beyond Remo, Lizzyi’s impacts have been significantly felt! In 2022, she realized that girls in Abeokuta and Ijebu ode faced similar challenges as their counterparts in Sagamu and other parts of Remo.
She intervened by holding a girl child-focused program in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, emphasizing their rights and future.
The program featured resource persons, including legal practitioners, emotional doctors, artists, and educationists, who sensitized the girls. In an interview after the program, the girls testified that it had lifted their burdens, enabling them to tap into their God-given potential.
Lizzy also organized virtual programs for the boy child in 2022 and 2023, focusing on building self-worth and stemming anti-social vices.
Through these programmes, dozens of boys reconsidered their decision to join cultism, while others determined to shun social violence and seek proper mentoring.
In 2024, Lizzy organized a program on the boy child at the Akarigbo Palace in Sagamu, themed “Cultural Values and Anti-Social Vices.” Her impact has been felt across Remo Land, empowering countless individuals and communities.
