NCEVECC extols Abiodun in new year’s message

The National Community Ethics And Value Environmental Compliance Corps (NCEVECC) has written a new year message to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, describing him as a silent and steadfast governor who is redefining the art of governance in the State.
The NCEVECC state Commander, CC Onilu Obasanjo Johnson in the new year’s message lauded the governor’s giant strides in all the sectors of the state’s economy, adding that Abiodun has made the state a friendly atmosphere for investment to thrive.
The Commander also noted that under the Abiodun’s administration, residents of Ogun state have access to basic necessities of life, including water supply and supply of sufficient food items.
Amongst many areas where the state has improved under Abiodun, the NCEVECC stated, is the health, education and agriculture sectors which the command described as key in the economy of any state.
The message reads in part “The year 2022 can be described as ‘successful year’ in the history of our dear Ogun state. The state recorded tremendous improvement in all the sectors of economy, a feat that couldn’t have been attained if not for the intervention and responsiveness of the government of Dapo Abiodun (Mfr).
“His administration’s active and proactivness in the area of security is a second to none. Before now, the state could be described as ‘unsafe’ due to incessant killings and other criminal activities that went uncheck.
“But the advent of this administration has brought an end to such a narrative in the state and now everybody can sleep with their eyes closed. One of the abilities that qualify a leader is provision of adequate security for his people, this you have done in Ogun state.
Onilu however pledged to work in synergy with the government to sustain sanity that the Abiodun’s administration has restored in the state through his administration.
“We will Synergise with the Ogun state government in all to maximize sanity in the state and assist the government in strengthening security through our relentless and selfless activities in the nook and cranny of the state.
“Once again, we are wishing the governor a happy new year and we pray for success in his future endeavors”.
Onilu equally appreciated the Commissioner for Environment, Mr Ola Oresanya for the supervision and management of donor agencies assisted projects in the state.
The Commander also lauded the commissioner for formulating and evaluating policies relating to climate change towards mitigating the negative impact of climate change in the state.
