New 35 Artillery Brigade Commander Assumes Office

The newly appointed Commander 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Aminu pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessor.
He pledged on Thursday, as he took over the mantle of leadership as the 11th Commander of the Brigade in Abeokuta.
Speaking during the handing and taking over ceremony, he urged officers to continue to maintain a high level of discipline and give proper mentorship and guidance to their subordinates.
Earlier in his address, the outgoing Commander, Major General IM Abdullahi appealed to officers and men of the Brigade to give the same level of support that was accorded to him to the new Commander to sustain troops’ efficiency and high level of professionalism in the discharge of duty.
Highlights of the occasion include the presentation of the flag of office by the outgoing Commander, Major General IM Abdullahi to the newly appointed Commander, Brigadier General MT Aminu, signing of handing and taking over notes and group photographs.
