Ogun Chief of Staff, Toyin Taiwo To Receive “Pillar of Good Governance” Award At NUJ’s Congress

The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has announced its plan to honour the Chief of Staff, Dr Toyin Taiwo with the award of “Pillar of Good Governance”.
According to the Council secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the CoS will be awarded during the NUJ’s monthly congress scheduled for Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Aremo Olusegun Osoba Hall, NUJ Secretariat, Iwe-Iroyin Press Centre in Abeokuta.
Adigun disclosed that the honor is in appreciation of Taiwo’s leadership style and unwavering support for transparency, accountability, and excellence in governance.
Adigun said “The NUJ Council emphasized that Dr. Taiwo’s contributions have significantly impacted the development of Ogun State, and it is paramount to acknowledge the positive changes that have resulted from his involvement in the current administration.
“Members of the press and the community are invited to engage in discussions about critical issues affecting the Union and the State. The presence of Dr. Taiwo is anticipated to inspire participants as they share insights and perspectives.
“The NUJ urges Dr. Taiwo to confirm his attendance at his earliest convenience.
