Ogun Police Suspend Parade Of Suspected Criminals

The Ogun state police command has registered its decision to henceforth,  suspend the parade of suspects, saying that a suspected criminal is deemed innocent until contrary proven.

The notification which was sighted on the command’s closed Whatsapp page on Sunday afternoon stated that independent interviews of suspects will also be suspended.

The notification reads “Kindly be notified that suspect parade has been suspended henceforth. No suspect will be paraded again. A suspect is deemed innocent until contrary proven.

“Sequel to the above, independent interviews of suspects will now be suspended please.

“We can continue to work with exhibits recovered, but no more suspects faces on display”.
