OGYASD felicitates with Asiwaju on patronship honour
Abeokuta-Members of the Ogun Youth Advocate for Social Development have felicitated with the Asiwaju of Orile-Imo in Obafemi Owode Local Government of Ogun state, Olakunle Olalekan over his recognition as the Patron of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), the state chapter.
The OGYASD President, Comrade Oluseyi Alamu in a statement he released after the conferment ceremony held at the Police Officers’ MESS in Abeokuta, the state capital said the honor was deserving, adding that Asiwaju is a man that the society wants to recon with.
Alamu said OGYASD is one of the groups and individuals in the state that have benefited from the humanitarian gestures of Asiwaju in the State.
He said “Asiwaju really deserved the honour conferred on him by the PCRC. I am not trying to paint what’s not; Asiwaju is a man who is contributing to the development of Ogun state. So, he deserves it.
He assured that the PCRC would not regret his decision to make Asiwaju its patron.
“I want to assure the PCRC that it will not regret making Asiwaju a patron. If you are talking about a reliable leader, Asiwaju is the man. He will definitely lead them well.
Alamu equally lauded Asiwaju for his efforts in making sure that OGYASD continues to toe the path of just, fairness, equity and equality for which it was found.
The youths leader maintained that the world will become a better place of abode for the human race if leaders at different levels could emulate Asiwaju’s leadership style.
