Olabode Enitan: A Distinguished Officer Bows Out Of Service With Honours
Olabode Enitan, Director of Planning Research and Statistics, was recently celebrated by the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (Ogun SUBEB) in a heartfelt retirement ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Conference Room of the Board in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, and saw Enitan bided farewell to his colleagues and peers as he retired from active service.
The event was graced by a host of dignitaries, including the Executive Chairman of Ogun SUBEB, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi, who delivered a pre-celebration farewell message to Enitan. Majekodunmi congratulated the celebrant on his retirement and commended him for his selfless service to the State. He described Enitan as a diligent, intelligent, resourceful, and loyal officer with a talent for thinking outside the box to solve complex challenges. Majekodunmi further praised the retiring Director for his innovative ideas that have helped the Board in various ways.
The Permanent Secretary-designate, Mr. Wasiu Olalekan Kuye, also delivered a goodwill message in which he commended Enitan for his dedication and described him as a respectful, diligent, and devoted officer. Kuye advised Enitan to prioritize his health, draw closer to God, and wished him good health to enjoy his retirement.
Other dignitaries at the event, including Retired Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Funmi Ajayi, Director of Social Mobilization, Mrs. Jokotade Agbatiogun and Director, Home Grown School Feeding Programme, Mrs. Comfort Akinlade, also eulogized him for his responsible, sincere, impactful, and value-added service. They wished him well in all his future endeavors.
Enitan, in his response, expressed his appreciation and commended the Board and Staff for celebrating his retirement ceremony. He advised the staff in attendance to remain hardworking, steadfast, diligent, and inspired to make a positive impact wherever they find themselves.
