Olopade’s appointment as LOC chairman for NSF 2024 well deserving – OGYASD
The Ogun Youth Advocate for Social Development (OGYASD) has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Bukola Olopade on his appointment as the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the highly anticipated 2024 National Sports Festival (NSF).
The OGYASD Chairman, Comrade Oluseyi Alamu in the congratulatory message signed in Abeokuta on Wednesday expressed belief that Olopade’s leadership will bring about positive changes and innovations to the organization and execution of the National Sports Festival.
Alamu stated that the appointment marks a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to host a successful sporting event and underscores Olopade’s exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
Hon. Bukola Olopade, a distinguished sports administrator and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State, has an extensive background in the field of sports management.
The National Sports Festival, a biennial multi-sport event that showcases the nation’s best athletes, will bring together participants from across Nigeria.
Alamu said “With his wealth of experience and passion for sports development, he is expected to steer the organizing committee towards a remarkable and memorable event. Ogun State has been selected as the host for the 2024 edition, and with Olopade at the helm of the LOC, expectations are high for a world-class sporting extravaganza.
The OGYASD expressed confidence in Olopade’s ability to deliver a remarkable event that will not only showcase the sporting talents of Nigerian athletes but also promote unity, sportsmanship, and youth empowerment in Ogun State.
