Ogun Youth Advocate for Social Development (OGYASD) has congratulated the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani on his swearing in.
Tijani was among the 45 ministers President Tinubu swore in recently .
In a statement signed by the group’s the President, Comrade Oluseyi Alamu while congratulating the new Minister, the group described the appointment of Tijani as a well-deserved one, saying that it is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and commitment to the development of the country.
The group noted that Tijani has a track record of excellence and expressed confidence that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new role as Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
OGYASD also pledged its support to the new Minister, saying that it is ready to work with him to achieve the goals and objectives of his ministry.
The group urged Tijani to use his position to promote the development of the ICT sector in Nigeria, and to ensure that the country benefits from the opportunities provided by the digital economy.
It also called on the Minister to address the challenges facing the ICT sector, such as the high cost of data and the lack of access to broadband internet in rural areas.
OGYASD expressed confidence that Tijani will be able to deliver on his mandate, and wished him success in his new role.
