Tinubu Administration Started on a wrong note- NNPP Chieftain, Fayoyin
A Chieftain of New Nigeria People’s Party in Ogun state, Hon Jobby Fayoyin have knocked the presidency and All Progressive Congress (APC) government over the bad shape of the nation economy which have a pointer to the removal of subsidy in the petroleum sector.
Hon Fayoyin who lamented that the poverty rate have increased tremendously since the removal of subsidy, making life seriously difficult.
He said,” it’s difficult for Nigerians to feed themselves talk less of going into investment. Businesses have crumbled . Sadly, the government have not been able to arrest those who have plundered the treasury of this country. The APC government have failed to help the common man, and the people who have brought us to this level are still enjoying the proceeds of the loots.”
Hon Fayoyin called on the President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to swallow his ego and reverse his policy on subsidy removal. He added that,” subsidy is the last hope of common Nigerians; they can’t eat well, can not access medical facilities, the social infrastructures are in bad shape, education sector is crying for help, insecurity have made many to abandon agriculture, and so on. Many are lamenting that as bad as Buhari administration, it was not as difficult as this in the country.”
He therefore said the present administration may not achieve anything reasonable for the next four years if those wrong policies are not reversed for the betterment of the people.
