World Civil Defence Day: Ogun Command Hails Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi Leadership Style
The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Command Headquarters, Abeokuta, Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi mni, celebrated in grand style the annual World Civil Defence Day (WCDD) 2024 with a commemorative church service at the Chapel of Christ The Glorious King (CCGK), Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Also joining in the commemorative church service were officers and men from the College of Security Management Abeokuta, Ogun State ably led by her College Provost, Assistant Commandant General (Dr) Dibie Rose Nwaomelebele (Hons.).
It was also a time for thanksgiving and appreciation for another new year which is celebrated on every March 1 which is marked by the International Civil Defence Organisation as the “World Civil Defence Day” across the globe.
The State Commandant also went down memory lane to appreciate everyone who had been of immense support and assistance to the Corps not only in Ogun State but beyond.
Particularly, the State Commandant appreciated the leadership and support of the Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD, mni, OFR, in his quest to make the Corps a pride for all especially through robust training and welfare of officers.
